2013 Antonia, Sonoma Valley

A blend of primarily Cabernet with a strong Merlot component- our special proprietary red blend -- embodies both strength and elegance. This wine exudes rich aromas of blackberry, bittersweet chocolate mousse and a hint of vanilla spice, leading into integrated notes of deep-purple plum, toasted oak and Earl Grey tea.

The historic vineyard at Bartholomew Park was rehabilitated in the 1940's by famed journalist Frank Bartholomew and his wife Antonia. While her husband traveled the globe as a reporter, Antonia led the effort to restore the vineyard and dedicated her later years to preserving and perpetuating the beauty and history of this revered Estate property. This wine that bears her name is made in a food friendly, serious yet elegant style that showcases the legacy that Antonia left for us all to enjoy.

Hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks with gentle pump-overs. Aged in French oak barrels, 35% new, for 18 months.
